Rupa Bose in a Merrill Lynch campaign
|
Currently based in San Francisco, Bose can take on projects there and overseas.
Rupa's years of experience in Asia and the US include working for Merrill Lynch and BNP Paribas in equities research; and for SRI International and for Business International (now the Economist Intelligence Unit).
As an independent consultant, her clients ranged from Motorola to not-for-profits such as Housing Conservation & Development Corporation, for which she worked pro-bono.
She has made presentations to large and small groups and on TV/ Radio; published full-length reports and short articles; analyzed companies and problems; built financial models; and managed projects with small project teams.
She's worked in San Francisco and Delhi, Singapore and Hong Kong, Tokyo and Mumbai, and travelled to interesting places: Papua New Guinea, Jilin, Colombo, Rome, Edinburgh, Yangon, Lagos and Cairo among others.

Current Project... Rupa is working on a book, tentatively titled "India: Business Checklists." It's going to be a practical guide to the things business people should keep in mind when doing business with or in India. If you have experiences you'd like to share, e-mail her!
